2012 League Information

We will play Babe Ruth softball this year. This will let us play All-Stars in ALL age groups. Age groups are as follows....

All ages as of January 1.....

8U  Born in years 2003-2004

10U Born in years 2001-2002

12U Born in years 1999-2000

14U Born in years 1997-1998

16U Born in years 1995-1996

We will draft every age group. We will re draft any age group that has not had a draft within a year. This will include 8U 14U and 16U this year.

The only way to play up is to contact a commissioner. Any player playing up will have to be drafted by the second round. And they will only be eligible to play All-Stars in the age group you play during season.

To determine the number of teams Winter Park can field, a list of managers needs to be set by January 31st. If there is an insufficient number of managers than players may be put on a waiting list as roster sizes must be kept at a fair and reasonable size. This means fewer coaches equals fewer number of girls that will have an opportunity to play softball .
 
Sign ups will be online in a couple of weeks and at the clubhouse in February.
